Nothing feels better and helps you relax more than a shower after a day of fun and activities outdoors. While each campground has its own bathroom and comfort station setup, but one thing is for sure….it is not like at home. The size, water temperature, water pressure, cleanliness and the line of people waiting to get in are all common issues with campground shower facilities. Consider the following tips to help with your shower experience.
- Use a shower bag – this is a waterproof bag that you can carry all your items and clothes in.
- A cheap pair of flip flops will be your best friend! You can purchase them at department or beach stores and never have to worry about gross shower floors ever again.
- Use a plastic soap container.
- Plan your shower during off times – very early morning, early afternoon, later in the evening, this will help with the long wait times public showers can have at peak times.
Now that you have the basics down for making the most out of your campground's comfort station and bathrooms!
